Master antenna TV systems traditionally have been distributed via a dedicated co-axial cable network. With the evolution of technology, high definition TV signals can now also be transported over fibre-to-the-premises, co-axial or even standard copper telephone cables.

Free-to-air TV

As well as all the local free-to-air TV channels, satellite and Pay TV channels can be incorporated into the system if required.

Pay TV

If required, the designs can cater for Pay TV which can be delivered to dwellings so that residents requiring the service simply organise a Pay TV set-top box (just like any standard subscriber).

Alternatively, Community Living Technologies can provide advice on how to set up the system so that all dwellings within the community will receive a number of Pay TV channels by default.

Digital Signage

In a community environment, digital signage provides the ability to combine multimedia and present them on the residents TV screens and on displays in communal areas.

Community Living Technologies designs can incorporate an “in-house” or private TV channel for residents, which is an effective way of drawing residents’ attention to upcoming functions or events, while also providing a source of community news.

Internet and Video-on-Demand (VoD)

A Community Living Technologies design can also incorporate intranet and Internet access through a resident’s TV using a set-top box and infrared keyboard.

With the growth of high-speed broadband networks, the use of "on-demand' streaming of content to end-users is grwoing enormously. Community Living Technologies designs can cater for this with variety of Video-on- Demand (VoD) soltuions.
